Mel was possessed of such an exceptionally kind and generous spirit. His kind and gentle guidance in service of many families we served at Clayton’s over the years was always deeply appreciated. His dry sense of humour often caught me off guard and brings a smile to me even know as I think of him. I am forever grateful for all his time and effort in supporting his congregation and community. I wish his family, and all who have been affected by his loss, all my best wishes for healing at this time and my heartfelt gratitude for sharing him with the rest of us. He lived his truth and his actions, in my experience, were always guided by love, faith, and honesty. He was such a very good man, and I shall miss him a great deal.
