Obituary of Lynette Helen Sankey

The family of Lynette Sankey sadly announces her passing on Wednesday, June 18th, 2025, at the age of 87. Known for her sharp wit, stubborn streak, and a work ethic that could outmatch anyone, Lynette held her own in a sawmill for many years- no small feat in her day. A loving mother of six and a woman who was never afraid to speak her mind (or let Fay's parrots do it for her), she lived a full and fiercely strong-willed life.

Now reunited with her husband and lifelong partner, Lynette will be laid to rest at a graveside service on Sunday, June 29th at 12:45pm. The family will be holding a private celebration of life to honour her memory.
