Obituary of Greg Brink

                                       In loving memory of

                                     Gregory Roland Brink

                              May 17, 1944 - June 29, 2025

Gregory Roland Brink Passed away on June 29th 2025. Greg was born in Wainwright Alberta on May 17th 1944. Greg was the third of four siblings. The family moved to BC in 1953 and settled in the Langley area. Greg graduated from Langley Secondary School in 1963, and went on to College earning his teachers certificate in 1969.

 

Greg moved to Quesnel around 1969 and started his teaching career at Baker Elementary and later taught English as a second language at Bouchie lake Elementary.

Greg Brink retired in 1999 and continued farming, first raising pigs then moving into cattle. Greg was involved in many associations in Quesnel, the draft horse club, retired teachers association, he was also president at the Alex Fraser park of many years.

In 2012 Greg fought his battle with cancer and won. He was struggling with emphysema until his passing at home at the age of 81, with family at his side.

Greg loved it when the family would come to the farm for a visit and play on the barrels, ride the pig, or just sit around and reminisce about the past.  You could see him with the biggest grin on his face, he was all about family.

Greg is survived by his 8 nieces. Debbie Henry , DeeDee ODonnell, Bonnie Ruchotzke, Cindy Gillette, Shelley Brink, Julie Mossey, Rhonda Brink-Kurek, Tammy Brink, and 1 nephew Gordon Brink. His Sister-in-law Marg Brink, brother-in-law Lorne Mossey.

He will be missed dearly by his dear friends, (family) Pat Lyne, Bob and Dawn Bueckert, Dwaine and Sheila Bax.

 

Pre deceased by his parents Evelyn and Ernest Brink, sister Vonnie Mossey, brother Gordon Brink, brother Glen Brink, and niece Tara Mossey.

 

You will be deeply missed by many.
