I worked at laudrymat for 5 yrs. and Noreen came in every Sunday morning we got to be very close, we would talk about our week you could tell her anything and she always kept it to herself as I did the same, and Betty would come when she was in town she was one of the kindest lady Ive met see you on the other side Norweenie xoxo

As our neighbour of 14 years, Noreen gave love and caring freely to all those who became aquainted with her. Her love for others, and for her family also extended to animals of all kinds in our neigbourhood. She often could be spotted out in her pjs making sure the hummingbirds had their food and the winter birds had their seed and fat. She never minded the deer and squirell in her bird feeders either. She grew wonderful gardens and flowers she always shared with us. She always had a cheery hello and a wave to greet us across the street. We were always invited to her family celebrations for meals which we enjoyed many of her homemade perogies and delicious baking. Noreen you will be missed very much and things will never be the same in our neighbourhood again.. Love Tony & Juanita

Wonderful memories of Noreen during our visits over the years. We are so happy on our last visit in 2015 to have gotten to know her a lot better. It was a wonderful visit with lots of laughs. She will be forever in our hearts. Love Steve & Rita Gibson

I am remembering good times with my cousin Noreen when we would visit as children with our parents from Ontario and later when Ron and I travelled out to spend some time in BC. Noreen and Lyle took us for a fun day to Barkerville and the surrounding area. We visited sites that Noreen had worked tree planting in and went on a hike in a wooded area. Noreen was always cheerful and very generous. She will be missed by us. We want to extend our sincere condolences to her entire family. We will be holding you in our thoughts and prayers as you walk through this difficult time of loss. Love, Sharon and Ron

My memories of Noreen was a family reunion in Blind Bay years ago we were all much younger and we had plenty of fun at this time.Noreen amazed us with jokes she always had lots and keep us all in stitches our sides were sore for days will miss that smile. We are so sad to hear of Noreen's death. She was such a wonderful woman and for the time that my mother, Norene, lived where Noreen worked, she made our life easier. She dished out love and kindness with every smile and every action. We will miss you.
