I would like the family to know that even though I did not know Dave well, when I did spend time with him it was always full of laughter and light. He was very kind hearted and he will be greatly missed. I worked previously at the shop where he had his car serviced, he always had a smile and a kind word about everyone.
May he rest in peace - always smiling.

We are sad to hear of the passing of David. David was very kind and generous to my family when we lived in Quesnel. For several sundays in church when we first arrived at Quesnel, he sat quietly observing my 8 year old son Jonathan playing air drums with pens he picked up in church. We were not aware of this at the time. One Sunday after church, he walked over to us and gifted my son a brand new pair of drumsticks which he signed. Picture attached. That was 8 years ago. My son, now 16 years old, has gone on to be a really good drummer. He now plays drums and is a member of the worship team at our current church. On hearing of his passing, Jonathan brought out the same drumstick signed by David. Though the signature is faded, David’s kindness and legacy remains... we remember David with deep gratitude for seeing with eyes of grace and discernment.David and Paula were one of the nicest people we met during our time in Quesnel. Always ready for a chat and to reach out. May his soul rest in glory. Our love and condolences to Paula and all the family. - Rita Atake-Akuagwu
