Obituary of Donna Marilyn Ponting

It is with great sadness that the family of Donna Marylin Ponting (Kilsby) announce her passing peacefully at home on November 5th, 2020.  

Donna was born in Ontario, to Beatrice and Leonard Kilsby and raised with her siblings Arnold and Kelley in Alexandria, BC.  She is survived by her loving daughter, Lana, two grandchildren Lars and Micheal and a great-granddaughter Charlotte. A long time Quesnel resident, Donna worked in Dunrovin’s kitchen, She was hard working and made many friends among the residents she supported there.  

Donna happiest times were spent with family.  She will be remembered by all who knew and loved her as an amazing cook, a wry wit, an animal lover and an avid flower gardener.  In accordance to her wishes Donna’s life will be celebrated with a private ceremony when it is safe to do so.  If friends so desire, donations can be made to the SPCA or other animal charities.
