Obituary of Lee Foster Chaplin

Lee Foster Chaplin, age 75 of Quesnel, BC passed away on February 23^rd, 2021 at GR Baker Memorial Hospital.

Lee was born in Kelowna, BC on October 30, 1946 and moved to Quesnel in 1965 where he met Yvonna.  Lee and Yvonna married in Kootenai, Idaho in 1966.  Together they had 6 children all born in Quesnel.  He was a long time mill worker in Quesnel, working at many mills, ending his career at West Fraser Mills after 44 years.  He enjoyed all outdoor activities, he cut and delivered firewood and liked to pick cones in his spare time.  Lee enjoyed a good conversation or banter, aliens, the supernatural and the unexplained.

Lee is predeceased by his parents; Shubert and Jean Chaplin, and his daughter Coral in 2019.

He is survived by his:

Wife of 54 years, Yvonna

Children: Bonnie, Wanda, Nathan, Arlene and Sandra

Sisters: Bonnie, Heather, Helen, and Christine

Brother: Art

Grandchildren: Derek, Kyler, Ryan, Ashton, Saige, Daelin, Connor, Aislynn, Darren (Crystal), Portia, Danielle (Joe)

Great Grandchildren: Lane and Avery

There will be no service at this time, a Celebration of Lee’s Life will be held when covid restrictions allow.
