Obituary of Rose Elizabeth Baziuk
Rose was an avid cross-stitcher and enjoyed completing many projects for family and friends. She even cross-stitched a very large RCMP emblem for the Wells detachment. She took karate lessons and enjoyed talking with her children.
She lived in Vancouver, Richmond, Prince George, Quesnel and Wells throughout her life – Steve had the moving bug. She loved playing bingo and looked forward to trips to the Treasure Cove Casino in PG for all day Bingo binges.
She enjoyed travelling to Las Vegas with her son Murray and travelling to Edmonton with Murray and his wife, Anita.
Rose worked as a waitress at the Northwood Inn Restaurant in Wells, and as a Post Mistress in Barkerville. She was an active member in the Ladies Auxiliary for the Wells Legion.
