The sadness of your passing Erdy is made somewhat easier by all the great memories that alot of us have of you..your infectious laugh and quick wit..just a really good guy and friend. I will always treasure the great times we had as teammates on the Rowdies..you were a huge part of a special group of friends that spent so much time together..Thsnks for always being so reliable and consistent. To Ethan..Eli..and Olivia..your Dad loved you guys dearly and hope your good memories will help to ease your sorrows. I cant recall very many people that didn't like your Dad and that's always a good sign of a genuinely good person..it was a privilege to say you were my friend! I will miss you my friend but will hold onto the good times we had in my heart and memory forever. Til we meet again.

Sending our sincere condolences to Steve's family and friends.
We share in the pain of losing such a great friend and father. Take comfort in the support of family and friends during this very difficult time. The loss of someone so loved will always leave a hole in our hearts. While you'll never get over the loss, allow yourselves to grieve, it's an very important part of healing. Ethan, Eli & Olivia, always know how proud of you Steve was, perhaps you can find solace in knowing how your dad touched so many and was loved by all.
Going to miss you my friend, may God speed. Until we meet again, and we will, love you buddy.
Mike & Donna Davis.

First of all I would like to send Steve’s family condolences. This makes me so sad. I only have good memories of Steve.
I grew up with Steve. We went all through elementary and high school together and he made sure at every reunion that all of us who came got together for a photo.
So one of my biggest memories was at the end of our grade 7 year between exams, most of our grade 7 cass made arrangements to go to Dragon Lake swimming. We were just to go to Dragon Lake public beach, nowhere else but we went down to the other beach instead which meant we were on the highway. Steve and I were riding side-by-side when a big transport truck went Whippin by and he was so close that he scared the daylights out of me and I fell down into the ditch and broke all the spokes in my bike. After going to the beach we all walked home together. The boys had found a big stick that they could use to hold the bike up so we could wheel it. I left my bike at Steve’s house because on the way home the boys all decided how they were going to fix my bike so my parents wouldn’t find out. Unfortunately the bike didn’t get fixed, the parents found out and it was a big disaster. This makes it an epic memory. Still being the nice guy that he was, he gave me a hug and said it would all be OK. Rest in peace Steve!

My sincere condolences to his entire family. I have fond memories of Steve growing up - Steve was a “staple” in our house, hanging out with my brother Harold. I recall he was always ready with a smile and a kind word for Harold’s little sister (me). RIP ….. till we meet again.
