Obituary of Charles W Sandhoff
It is with profound sadness that the family of Charles W. Sandhoff announce his passing on January 21, 2021, with his wife and two children by his side.
Charles was truly loved by everyone who had the opportunity to get to know him, including his neighbours and co-workers. He was never one to back down from hard work or difficult tasks. Charles was a shining example of perseverance and determination to everyone who knew him. No matter the situation, he was always happy and willing to lend a helping hand, share words of encouragement and bring a smile with his sense of humour to everyone around him. His legacy of kindness, character, diligence, generosity, and humility have served to inspire those who knew him, and truly left the world a better place. His love of the great outdoors, sense of adventure and his passion for working with his hands have been passed along to his children and shared with his grandchildren as well. The time spent together as a family will never be forgotten.
Charles will be forever remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, a kind and cherished friend, and a warm-hearted grandpa by his wife, Kimberly; his two children: Thomas and Sarah, and three grandchildren: Karlie, Rylan and Tyler; as well as his numerous relatives and friends.
Charles will be laid to rest in Quesnel, on October 15th 2022, where he met his wife and began his family. His final resting place is the Quesnel Tranquility Gardens.
My father is the finest man in all this world to me;
He’s all that’s good and brave and true, the things a man should be.
There never was a better friend or wiser one than Dad;
He’s just the truest-hearted pal a fellow ever had.
My father’s creed is faithfulness; he seeks to serve his God,
His loved ones, and his fellow-men; content is he to plod
Along the quiet ways of life; he wants no tow’ring fame
Or mighty wealth—his goal is this: A pure, unsullied name.
My father is the kind of man that I would like to be;
He’s wholesome, gentle, just, sincere—the soul of honesty.
I want to live a life like his, and, oh, I want to prove
My right to bear my father’s name, and share his priceless love.
