Obituary of Doris Marie Windt

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of DORIS WINDT, on November 21, 2022.

DORIS and her family were long time residents of Alexandria, followed by a move to Kersley in the late 1990s. She loved gardening, sewing, dancing, as well as watching, and occasionally joining, her family's sporting activities. She and Bob enjoyed travelling, embarking on many RV trips around western Canada and western USA, sometimes as avid squaredancers, and sometimes simply enjoying nature's wonders.

DORIS is survived by BOB, her loving husband of 63 years, as well as sons KEN (Nicoline) and MICK (Shantal), daughters LYNNE and LAURINA (Mike), and grandchildren SEAN (Kirsten), BRITTANY, NATHAN, NOLAN, JESSALYN (Ernest) and CALLENA (Ethan).

The family would like to thank DORIS's medical team, and the caregivers of Maple House and Dunrovin, for their care and support in these last years.

As per family wishes, there will be no service at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Maple House/Dunrovin Park Lodge in Quesnel.
