Obituary of Loraine Cecelia Daniell

It is with great sadness that the family of Lorraine Cecelia Daniell (Campbell) announce her passing on November 23, 2023 at the age of 71. A true companion for her husband Tony for 31 years.  She leaves behind a number of horses and her faithful dogs, Nicki, Kono, and Sheeba.

Lorraine will be missed by her twin sister Laverne Gorman (Murray), brother inlaw Harold Vollmer, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased her parents Isabel and Welly Campbell; siblings Phyllis, Donald, Bob, Billy, and Malcolm Campbell, Alberta Vollmer, and Clara Peddle.  

Lorraine touched the lives of many people in the community and offered a lasting friendship to many.  She will be remembered by thousands of students that she taught and coached at Correlieu Secondary School in Quesnel for the majority of her career before her retirement in 2011.  A lover of animals, Lorraine could be seen in the Billie Barker parade driving a team of miniature horses or riding her horse in a poker run around the trails of Quesnel.  

Special thanks to the nursing staff at GR Baker Memorial Hospital who took good care of Lorraine in her final days.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society. Services arranged through Clayton's Funeral Home in Quesnel.

A celebration of life will be organized and details to follow at a later date.
