I remember when you visited me in Edmonton. My son was just a baby and you recently came back from a trip. You told me that when he was older we'd all go, but you gave me a bunch of foreign coins to put in his piggy bank and said, "There, that's a start to his collection. We'll add more! It'll be fun."
That's one of my favourite memories of you. You were so happy, in good spirits. Joking, laughing.
You always talked about how much you loved your girls. Your smile radiated the most when you talked about them. That smile.. it should've been able to cure all the darkness in the world with how bright it was.
I miss it. I miss the random hangouts. The spontaneous drives. The big bear hugs...
I don't know what else to say. I just miss you. You were like my big sister. All I know is that when we do end up travelling, and collecting coins, you will be there with us.
Rest easy, my beautiful friend. You are so very missed and will never be forgotten.
