I have just received the news of the recent passing of your beautiful mother and am deeply saddened by this news. She was the angel that stepped in when I needed someone to care for Shawn and will be forever grateful for the support and care she provided.
You will miss her in a thousand ways! I hope that knowing how much she loved her family and that you had the privilege of calling her” Mom” brings you some comfort. I am only one of many grieving with you and all her loved ones!
Hugs,
Marion and Shawn Baumann

My dear friend of over 30 years, know how dearly I will miss you. I am so grateful for the life experiences we have shared together. You are truly one of the most kindest, genuine and caring people that I have ever known. I know we will connect again and share more wonderful times together. Love to all her family and friends.
always

Sometimes there are no words.
It feels very surreal to be writing a tribute to my sister, one of a handful of people that you have had the longest relationship of your life. Growing up we were all very close, but Elaine had a spark in her, that never dimmed. Her humor was infectious and her kind caring nature was unparalleled. She had a gift to juggle all the people in her life, personal and professional, and make time and space for each one.
She cherished her family, all of us. But especially her children and grandchildren, and the love of her life, Bruce. They were her core. She valued her friendships and loved to entertain.
Her very, very special gift was the empathy she granted to every human that needed it. It was a lesson she tried to teach me; I know. I promise my sister, I will do better.
I’ll miss you always...............Sometimes there just aren’t enough words.

My heart and prayers go to all of you….your Mom and I shared tears and laughter on numerous occasions . We worked together at Amata for over ten years….i remember the day i met her …she was a volunteer at Amata and I and my daughter Chrissy were residents fleeing abuse staying there….she lit up the room with her smile and happy energy that filled the space. Her soft voice and gentleness gave us a sense of peace and hope. She was a prankster at times too. Great sense of humour.
I haven’t been in touch for a few years but I thought of her often. I will truly miss her.
