Obituary of Tracy Marlene Laberge

Tracy Marlene LaBerge (Moore)  was born in Nanaimo BC in 1976 and spent much of her life between there and Quesnel BC. She was the only daughter of Shannon Macdonald and Donald Laberge. She has three siblings who were so special to her: Billy, Susan, and Shelley. 

Tracy passed away on March 10th 2024. 

Tracy was married in 2016 to her husband Darren Moore. 

As a child and teen she was bright, wild, and free in all senses. Her beautiful smile lit up the lives of those around her.

In her adult years Tracy had two biological children with Rodney Mindel: her son Lucas and Daugther Allyssa; she also found the space in her heart to love and accept a third child, Benedict, whom she loved no different than her own, and who she considered her own. 

Tracy found great joy in being a grandmother to her grandson, Jacob. She also enjoyed spending quality time with her friends and family; if there was a get-together she was always there blessing those around her with her presence. She especially enjoyed being near the ocean where she spent so much time in her younger years. 

Tracy was a beloved family member, friend, wife, and employee. She was a big part of advocating for her community, and had profound sense of understanding and empathy for the hardships of those around her whether she personally knew them or not. 

Tracy will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends and all those who crossed paths with her. 

An initial service for Tracy will take place Friday March 22nd 2024 at 9:00AM, as well as a funeral ceremony in the summer months for which details will be provided at a later date.
