Obituary of Ray Susag

June 28th, 1933- June 23rd, 2024

It is with great sadness the family of Raymond Sigurd Susag announce his passing at the age of 91 years.

Raymond was born in Quesnel to Sigurd and Lilly Susag.

Predeceased by his parents, sister Francis Vernon, Brother-in-Law Bob Vernon of Prince George and foster Daughter Marilyn Reno of Prince George.

Much Loved and missed by his common law partner Blanche Miller, survived by his daughter Lyndia Susag/ Lee, Grandsons Jason and Eric of Prince George, Daughter Connie Bonneville of Phoenix Arizona & Grandsons Cole and Evan.

Also survived by Anne Milne the mother of his daughters of Summerland.

Ray will be missed by his extended family, Stepdaughter Debora Haley/ Dave, Stepdaughter Joanne McLaughlan/ Rick, Stepdaughter Cindy Johnson/ Paul, Stepson Bill Miller/ Anita

Before retiring Ray worked in the logging division of Carrier Lumber in Prince George and Garner Brothers in Quesnel.

Ray was a welder by trade and a self-taught mechanic. After retiring Ray and Blanche spent their winters in Yuma AZ, Mexico and Palm Springs CA.

The family would like to thank the nurses at Dunrovin Respite for their great care given to Ray.

A celebration of Life will be held Aug 31, 2024 at the Anglican Church Hall from 2-4
