This past September, I went up north for a conference, and, of course, visited great grandma on the way. She was surprisingly alert and in a talkative mood! Although tired, her laugh and sense of humor were still the same. I talked about my partner, my sister, my parents...when talking about my pops (Jody), she asked: "is he handsome?!" I'm not sure how one is supposed to answer such a question, but we had a good laugh. I'm happy great grandma and grandpa are finally reunited. Rest easy great grandma.❤️
