A straight up guy with a huge heart, a total character, and a great friend. Jim didn’t always take the easy road, but that’s part of what made him a totally unique person. We will all miss him dearly!

Jim was my friend and companion for about 8 years. He was hero to the underdogs amongst us. He loved to be quirky and create his unique self. He loved to chuckle about things... anything... silly things. Most of all jim loved his friends, his family and Nature. And he loved his Chevy cruz too! Thank you Jim for your original contribution from the banality of life. You gave more than you took and we will remember and honour your legacy.

Our family knew him as "Uncle Jimmy" as he related so well to both adults and children.He was unique; highly skilled as a craftsman and a fun loving, thoughtful, and warm hearted person. We will miss this wonderful guy. Tom and Pat Getzie

To me, Jimmy was such a wonderful person. He hit ‘the wall’ a few times in his life-and bounced back. I’ll always remember, after bringing his brand new motorbike home-allowing me to test drive my first solo bike experience. After I proceeded to crash his precious new acquisition just after leaving the driveway, with his memorable chuckle he shrugged off the dents I created. RIP Jimmy, Bill
