Such sad news only just fount out, we kept in touch over email as we live over in the uk charlie was my uncle my dads brother who sadly passed away dron the awful disease he will sadly be missed. I can remeber when he flew over to the UK to see us he used to tell us about his jogs which made us laugh thinking of the family at these sad time we all love you . now you can be with my Dad your brother Raymond forknall. Very sad to read this I met Charlie. When I was a little girl. Going to red bluff school and as I grew I always see him around at the high schools. Or the river walk He was so nice and funny and being 36 now my daughters went to dragon lake. And he was still working and he said it’s kinda crazy to see your daughters grow to this why I love living in small town quesnel great people like charles

He always had something special to share that we may greet with laughter. Such sorrow news about this wonderful man. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. I had the great pleasure meeting Charlie when he would come to QJS and would be fixing something. He always had time to "Hello" in his accent and give it with that Charlie smile. I still can hear his voice with that accent and smile.
I know how much he looked forward to retirement. I didn't realize he wasn't well.

I have been working in China this year so I am shocked! He was always such a fun loving guy. It always took me ten minutes to say Hello Charlie. In that time I had at least 6 laughs. He was able to tell off color jokes like a gentleman! AND, he had a vast repertoire of ways to entertain me...

We have lost a unique human being, truly one of the best. I am so sad to hear of Charlie's passing but will remember him with great fondness. Charlie was a marvellous person. He possessed many gifts. I remember his singing voice. He sang with Louise Scott and I at a school assembly at Richbar Elementary. His voice filled the room!

I am so sorry, Charlie and I went to pluming school together in England and go back a long way. If you were hanging from a cliff on a rope Charlie is the person you would have wanted to hold the other end, he would have never let go. I am so saddened by his passing.
