To all of Frieda's family near and far; With deepest sympathy on the loss of your Mother, Oma and Great Oma.,sister and friend. Growing up Frieda was like a second Mom to me; I have such special memories of her and her family. I had kept in touch throughout the years and was so glad I had a visit with her within the last year never knowing it would be my last.
May sympathy from those who care, bring comfort to your heart - And may you know that those you love are never far apart... May it help and console you to remember often too , that many comforting thoughts are very close to you.

We would like to extend sincere condolences to all family members and friends of Frieda Karolat. What a rich and fulfilling life she led! Psalm 90:10 says that “the span of our life is 70 years, or 80 if one is especially strong.” So for Frieda to live 96 years far surpasses what that scripture says, and although being a time of grief, that fact is truly a wonderful blessing to look back on! In the days ahead, you can be certain that soon, “death will be no more” on the earth (Revelation 21:4), and that millions who are asleep in the grave will again wake up by being resurrected back to life in the very near future! (John 5:28, 29a) May this future resurrection be something in which you and all who are grieving at this time can find comfort.

Your mom was such a special lady, my condolences to all of the family on your loss. A true pioneer to the Cariboo, a good friend of my parents, as you were to my siblings and I. Frieda said to me when my mother passed two years ago, “ I guess I am the last one left now” I could tell she missed her time with the old friends. Thank you Frieda May you Rest In Peace.
