Our sincerest condolance to the Mctaggatt families. Gail and I have known Gordie and family since 1972 , have had alot of fun memories in those years. Gordie was one of my greatest friends and will always remember the times we spent at work and the many times camping. Always in our heart, RIP Gordie. Rene and Gail Van Vleet

Our family would like to extend our deepest condolences to all the family and everyone that was lucky eneough to have know Gordie. Gord and Pattie spent a lot of time with us from the time our kids were young from fishing/quadding/ boating etc..Gords love for everything out doors was special. That trip through sawmill flats and up yanks peak then having to turn back due to too much snow was epic! Not sure if everyone knew how talented Gordie was as a carpenter. Both he and Patty were a huge help many years ago when we added on to our cabin. The chair they did for us now stands as even more of a significance to Gords memory! We had many conversations sitting in that chair! Gordie was probably the most friendly and safe log truck driver I ever had the pleasure of sharing the road with. Always aware where he was and you. Often letting you know where to get too and if not he would often wait even loaded! These are few memories that we can share that quickly come to mind! Gordie where ever you are keep smiling my old friend you will be missed. Keep smiling that ever genuine smile of yours and laugh!
