Obituary of Gordon Ralph McTaggart

With heavy hearts, we are sad to announce the passing of Gordon McTaggart. Gordon was an amazing husband, dad, brother, grandpa, uncle & friend.

Gordon passed away peacefully at his home on March 26, 2023, with loving family by his side.

Gordon was born February 27, 1948 to Ann & John (Red) McTaggart in Prince George, BC. They then moved to Quesnel in 1959, where Gordon and his siblings grew up on Dale Lake Road.

Gordon loved so many things in life, first and foremost….his family and also all aspects of owning and operating his logging truck business including driving. He also loved  woodworking, fishing, camping & making people laugh and smile. 

Gordon was a very hard worker, took pride in everything he did for himself and for others. There was no job too big or too small.

Gordon is survived by his loving wife Pattie; his children Tanya (Wayde) Joyal, Katherine McTaggart, Darci Kirk (Cory), his grandchildren Joshua, Mikayla, Jaxen & Kaysen; his brothers & sisters Sharron (Keith) Anderson, Linda (Ron) McKerlie, Ivan McTaggart, Glen (Ella) McTaggart, and Dale (Leian) McTaggart and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gordon was predeceased by his father, John (Red) McTaggart (1989), mother, Ann McTaggart (2000), brother, Larry McTaggart (2001) and sister, Donna McTaggart (2011)

To honor Gordon’s wishes there will be no service.

Gordon was loved and will be missed by many!
