He was a fantastic man in so many different ways. I loved listening to all of the stories he'd tell me, listening to him play his guitar and sing from across the house, and be in awe of the craftsmanship that man would put into his cottonwood bark carvings. I have some adorable video footage of him playing that silly little marble machine with my 4 year old that I will cherish, and hold close to my heart. I'm glad I got to share that last beer with him, when I did......
Big hugs to his whole family

Sending my deepest condolences to the Engebretson family...Dennis was a "special" guy. He was exceptionally talented, funny, and a very kind man. I will always remember having a nice cold one on his back deck and being introduced to his duck family, and Dennis showing me his carvings....Rest in Peace my friend.

Our sincerest condolences to the Engebretson family. We have so many fond memories of both working with Dennis and enjoying the company of Pat and Dennis at “CPP Electrical Shop” functions. Dennis was one of my mentors while I was working on the tools and became my go to guy for advice when I supervised alongside him. Dennis was a pleasure to work with as he was knowledgeable, friendly and usually had a smile on his face.
One memory I have of working with Dennis is how entertaining it was to walk behind him heading out to look at a job, as he would sometimes pretend he was flying an airplane when going around corners. I find myself still doing it all these years later and it always make me think of Dennis. Rest in peace my friend.
